Austin English
Austin English is a consultant specializing in operational and strategic issues. Mr. English is on the board of Stonehouse Building Products, LLC. Mr. English's background includes over fifteen years of general management and manufacturing experience at United Technologies where he developed particular expertise in lean manufacturing, growth/change management, and continuous improvement processes. In addition, as a senior vice president, operations for Crutchfield Corporation, a $200 million catalog and internet retail business, Mr. English served as a "change agent" responsible for integrating continuous improvement into an entrepreneurial culture. He received a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, an M.B.A. from Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a MA in Foreign Affairs both from the University of Virginia.
